The Board of Directors is responsible for managing the operations of BayLISA, including planning events and working with partner organizations and sponsors.
The Board meets (usually) on the first Monday of the month, and may conduct business (if required and duly notified) prior to the general meeting on the third Thursday of the month. Times and locations may vary, and are usually announced on the BayLISA Wheels (blw@) mailing list a week in advance whenever possible.
Board Members are elected at our November meetings, by all present members in good standing of the organization, for a period of two years at a time. The Board Members elect their own officers at the following board meeting.
If you are interested in serving on the board, or volunteering to help the organization in other ways, contact directors@baylisa.org.
All BayLISA members in good standing are welcome to attend monthly board meetings to see how the organization is run and to get involved. An announcement is usually sent to blw (BayLISA Wheels group) a week in advance of the meetings.
