Our June and December meetings are scheduled to be "short topics" presentations, featuring several 15 minute presentations on topics of interest to production system administrators. Contact us if you would like to give a short presentation at one of these events.

The Board of Directors is responsible for managing the operations of BayLISA, including planning events and working with partner organizations and sponsors.

The Board has two standing meetings scheduled per month. The regular board meeting is (usually) the first Monday of the month at 7pm, barring major conventions or Federal holidays.

The alternate meeting (for conducting of urgent business) is by default scheduled for 6:45pm on the day of the General Meeting (usually third Thursday of the month). This meeting is not always convened, but is scheduled in case of urgent needs between regular board meetings.

Times and locations may vary, and are usually announced on the BayLISA Directors mailing list and Twitter a week or more in advance whenever possible. Attendance by telephone is available if board members cannot attend in person, but best results are attained by meeting face to face.

Board Members are elected at our November meetings, by all present members in good standing of the organization, for a period of two years at a time. The Board Members elect their own officers, for a period of one year at a time, at the following board meeting.
