If you are looking to pick up a few computery type books for the holidays,

Make sure to follow the instructions in the paragraph at the top that says 
"enter the promotional code:" to get your 35% off.

I did do a test run, and it asks for the code at step 3 at the same point 
it asks for your credit card details.  At that point, it's not billing 
your card just asking for details.  In the final step it shows the summary 
of how much your total will be with the special discount applied, and 
gives a button to place your order.
