DSL recommendations?

I just canceled and went to covad.. I'll just spend the next 2 weeks
taking advantage of a client's offer to use their offices whenever I want.

I'm pretty meticulous about phone conversations, I always take notes, ask
for full names, etc.. The speakeasy guy.. Man. I've never been told "you're
being abusive, I will not let you speak to my supervisor" before. Ever.  
I'm not abusive on the phone. I merely said "can I please speak to your
supervisor, I don't think we're communicating clearly and I want to voice
my complaints about the deception your salesman portrayed".. Then he hung up.

Maybe it's something in the water in the pacific northwest?
