Responsibilities:<br><br>
Day-to-Day maintenance and troubleshooting of
(primarily CentOS and RedHat) Linux Servers<br>
Linux desktop/laptop support<br>
Automation of administration tasks<br>
Server monitoring<br>
Supporting development environments<br>
Maintaining user accounts via NIS/LDAP<br>
Maintain backups<br>
Configure and build custom servers<br>
Networking, including switches, VPN and
firewalls<br>
Apache configuration and maintenance, module
installs, etc<br>
Maintain mail servers<br>
Maintain requests via a ticketing system<br>
Some MySQL database management.<br>
Maintain DNS server<br>

Skills required:<br><br>
Solid knowledge of RedHat / CentOS<br>
Experience with the Postfix mail system. <br>
Knowledge of LDAP and NIS and maintaining
both.<br>
MySQL<br>
Experience supporting <br>
Ubuntu knowledge<br>
Cisco configuration<br>
Bugzilla configuration<br>
Shell scripting (perl, ruby, etc., a plus)<br>
Knowledge of AWS Services (EC2, S3, etc.)<br>
Excellent customer service skills<br>
DNS administration with bind/named<br>
Ability to work on your own with little
supervision<br>
puppet is a plus<br>
Package building and installing software from
source.<br>
Possess excellent written and verbal
communication skills<br><br>
