I have a friend who used to be a Windows & Linux admin years ago with a Bay Area mega-corp & got burned out by their grueling on-call rotation (they're somewhat famous for it). He liked sports cars, so got certified & opened his own auto shop, which did well--but not well enough, so now he'd like to get back into the sysadmin game. He's looking for a Jr.-ish position with some growth potential. Anyone have anything like that? -Guy From raymond at ruptime.com Tue Jul 9 21:30:01 2013 From: raymond at ruptime.com (Raymond Lockley) Date: Tue, 09 Jul 2013 21:30:01 -0700 Subject: [Baylisa-jobs] Friend looking In-Reply-To: <5895EA52-31E0-43B0-AA07-486C4259202F@extragalactic.net> References: <5895EA52-31E0-43B0-AA07-486C4259202F@extragalactic.net> Message-ID: <51DCE349.7050706@ruptime.com> Hi Guy-- Have him take a look at our current opening, which is flexibly intermediate (SAGE level 2-4): https://www.appone.com/MainInfoReq.asp?R_ID=688879 We're way more laid back that that, have a good, smart team, and are open to someone who might be a bit rusty as long as they obviously knew stuff at some point that will come back to them. If he thinks he is a good fit, have him fill out the online app and use my name as referrer (and also send me a resume directly at the address below). --Raymond raymond.lockley at morphodetection.com On 7/9/2013 8:37 PM, Guy B.
